Colours built around the BSL system

The range follows the BSL (Base, Shade, Light) system, which groups colours that work together. That makes realistic transitions, highlights and shadows straightforward, even if you're new to airbrushing.

Matches Game Color

Game Air colours are identical to Game Color, so you can combine brush and airbrush work without any colour shift. Lay down the basecoats with the airbrush and pick out details by brush in the same colours, on miniatures, figures or kits.

Improved formula, stronger pigment

The new Game Air formula uses ultra-fine, highly concentrated pigment for more opacity and stronger colour. Adhesion is excellent on primed plastic, resin or metal.

Straight into the airbrush

Vallejo Game Air goes straight into the airbrush, no thinning needed. It flows smoothly without clogging and dries to a self-levelling matt finish with no spray marks.

Recycled bottles

New Game Air bottles are made of recycled and recyclable r-PET plastic, fully transparent so you see the real colour. Each one has a tamper-evident cap.

Fill the gaps with Game Color

Game Air has no metallics or fluorescents, but you can use the ones from the Game Color range in your airbrush. That gives you a wider choice without losing compatibility or quality.

Vallejo Game Air FAQ

Do I need to thin Vallejo Game Air for airbrushing?

No, it's ready to use. You can still thin it with Airbrush Thinner if you want softer effects or very thin layers.

Does Game Air match Game Color?

Yes. The colours are identical in both ranges, so you can combine brush and airbrush work with the same colours and get the same end result.

What can I paint with Game Air?

Miniatures, scale figures and kits in plastic, resin or metal, as long as they're primed first. It grips well and stands up to handling.

Are there metallic or fluorescent Game Air colours?

Not in Game Air itself, but you can airbrush the Game Color metallics and fluorescents to get those effects.

Why choose Game Air over other airbrush paints?

Its colours are designed for fantasy and wargames miniatures, figures and kits, with strong pigment, a direct match to Game Color and the BSL system, which makes good results easier from the very first session.
