Variety for all projects and machines

At Mr Resin we work with selected filaments to cover the full spectrum of FDM 3D printing. From basic PLA for beginners to technical materials such as PETG, ABS, or carbon fiber composite filaments.

Every filament in our catalogue is validated for standard 1.75mm printers: Bambu Lab (A1, P1S, X1-Carbon), Prusa (MK4, MK3S+), Creality (K1, Ender 3), Anycubic (Kobra Combo, Kobra 3), and Elegoo (Neptune). Real stock in our Barcelona warehouse — no dropshipping, no unnecessary waiting.

PLA, PETG, ASA and much more

PLA: Easy to print, ideal for beginners and decoration projects. Low cost, no heated bed required, compatible with almost any FDM printer.

PLA+: Improved version of PLA with greater mechanical and thermal resistance. Same printing workflow but with superior properties for functional parts.

PETG: Combines mechanical strength with ease of printing. Resistant to impacts, chemicals and temperature. Ideal for functional parts and outdoor applications.

ABS and ASA: Technical filaments for parts requiring maximum mechanical resistance or UV exposure. They need a heated bed and enclosed chamber to avoid warping.

Special filaments: wood, carbon fiber, flexible TPU, silk, transparent. Each with its own niche application.

Choose with confidence and without complications

Whether you print daily or just occasionally, Mr Resin has you covered across the entire support chain. More than 5,000 makers have chosen us and we have 412 verified reviews on Judge.me with an average rating of 4.92/5.

Local stock in Barcelona, 24-48h shipping for mainland Spain, 3-5 days for France and Portugal. Direct technical support via Telegram (@MrResin3D) for any questions about parameters, compatibility or troubleshooting.

Filaments with RFID technology

New smart printers like the Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo and Bambu Lab AMS take advantage of filaments with a built-in RFID chip. The chip automatically transmits optimal print parameters to the machine: temperature, speed, retraction.

Result: zero manual configuration, zero misconfigured filaments, zero failed prints due to parameters. If your printer supports RFID, the small extra cost is worth it for the consistency of results.

Want to try before you buy?

Every printer and every project has its own particularities. That's why we offer 50g samples of the main filaments in our catalog. They are perfect for:

  • Calibrating parameters before committing to a full 1kg spool
  • Testing the filament's behavior on your specific printer
  • Validating the exact color before printing a large project
  • Comparing brands to find your favorite

Samples include a technical sheet with recommended starting parameters (temperature, speed, retraction).

Colors, finishes and formats

Our catalog covers all common FDM finishes:

  • Solid colors: white, black, grey, red, blue, green, orange, yellow and more
  • Metallic silk: gold, silver, copper, bronze
  • Matte: ideal for parts that will be painted afterwards
  • Translucent and transparent: for specific visual effects
  • Multicolor (rainbow): progressive color change within the same spool
  • Wood and special composites: PLA with real wood particles, carbon fiber, magnetic, etc.

All spool formats available: 250g (extended sample), 500g, 750g, 1kg (standard), 2.5kg (value pack).

Frequently Asked Questions about Filaments for 3D Printing

What type of filament is best for starting out?

  • PLA is the best option for beginners: easy to print, does not require a heated bed and is very versatile.

How do I know if a filament is compatible with my printer?

  • Compatibility depends on three factors of your printer: filament diameter (1.75mm is the modern standard), hotend temperature (PLA 200-220°C, PETG 230-250°C, ABS 240-260°C), and heated bed (required for PETG, ABS and technical filaments). Multicolor systems with RFID such as Bambu Lab AMS or Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo only activate auto-configuration with filaments from their own brand, but other brands work equally well with manual configuration. In each Mr Resin product sheet we indicate specific compatibilities.

PLA, PETG and ABS are three common filaments used in 3D printing, each with distinct characteristics:

  • PLA is the easiest to print: biodegradable, odorless, ideal for beginners and decorative pieces, loses shape above 60°C. PETG combines ease of printing with superior mechanical resistance and supports up to 80°C, ideal for functional and outdoor pieces. ABS is the most mechanically resistant and tolerates over 100°C, requires a heated bed and preferably a closed enclosure due to warping; essential for advanced technical pieces. Summary: PLA to start, PETG for daily functional use, ABS for demanding technical applications.

Do you have filament samples to try?

  • Yes. You can buy 50g samples of various materials before deciding on a full roll.

How to properly store 3D filament?

  • The filament absorbs ambient moisture degrading the print: bubbles appear, sounds when extruding, brittleness in parts. Conservation: keep the spool sealed until using it, then store it in an airtight box with fresh silica (PolyDryer, PolyBox or IKEA SAMLA 11L are popular options). Hygroscopic critical filaments such as Nylon, PETG or TPU require a dehydrator at 40-60°C for 4-6h before printing. PLA holds up for weeks in a dry environment; PETG and Nylon a maximum of days. At Mr Resin we sell specific dehydrators PolyDryer and Sunlu.
