Weekly Content

What you'll find in every email

Six fixed editorial sections that the Mr Resin team curates every week from the global 3D sector.

Each Mr Resin Weekly is organized into 6 fixed editorial sections covering hardware, materials, software, maker culture, and team opinions. It is not an automated digest: every link goes through manual curation for relevance to the maker community.

🔥

Top story of the week

The most relevant 3D industry news affecting makers. One single topic per week, explained in depth with our own context. Real example: «12 print heads in a single printer (MOVA AtomForm at RAPID+TCT 2026)». We also cover legal controversies, such as the Pop Mart vs Bambu Lab case or the EFF's defense of makers against abusive patents.

🖨️

Hardware: printers and accessories

Launches, firmware updates and unboxings from Anycubic, Elegoo, Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Snapmaker and similar brands. Real examples covered by the Weekly: «Snapmaker U1 pre-order», «ELEGOO Jupiter 2» and the «BigRep ONE.5X» for industrial format. We prioritize models that makers can actually buy with decent support.

🧪

Resins y materiales

New formulations, comparative benchmarks and chemical safety alerts. We cover resin launches, technical filaments and experimental materials. Real example: «PLA converted into cast iron via microwave» or the Chinese all-in-one resin patent. We also flag new safety guides, such as the AmeraLabs guide on handling UV resin without exposure risks.

🤖

Software and slicers

Updates for OrcaSlicer, Chitubox, Lychee, UVTools, Photon Workshop, Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer. With notes on which changes affect your real workflow. We include relevant security patches like OrcaSlicer 2.3.2 and new features such as AI3D in Chitubox 3.3.0. Example: «OrcaSlicer 2.3.0 reduces multicolor waste by 40%», a change that saves real filament if you print models with 4+ colors.

🎨

Miniatures and painting

Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, Vallejo, Citadel/Warhammer Colour, Golden Demon tournaments and new paints and brushes. Real example: «Citadel rebranded to Warhammer Colour with a full relaunch» or the «11th edition of Warhammer 40K». We often cross this section with resin printing: which Mr Resin resins paint best for each game system.

💬

Mr Resin's take

The team's honest take on the week's top story. No fluff, no clickbait, no fear of contradicting manufacturers. Example: «Being a maker in 2026 also means defending your right to make whatever you want at home». Sometimes the opinion is uncomfortable for big brands, but if we only publish it to sell more, this section loses its purpose.

Real frequency

Frequency and what to expect in your inbox

A pace designed to keep you informed without overwhelming you.

You receive 2-3 emails from Mr Resin per week: the Weekly every Monday as a fixed summary, plus 1-2 extra emails with timely catalog updates or promotions.

The Mr Resin Weekly arrives Monday morning, on a fixed schedule. It's the main, most editorial email: a weekly digest of the 3D sector covering the 6 content blocks we've described. The 1–2 extra emails per week are more irregular and shorter: a new product launch from the Mr Resin catalogue, a restock of a popular resin, a one-off free-shipping promotion, or a long article we've published and want to share.

We chose this pace because it's the minimum needed to keep you informed without crossing the spam line. If on any given Monday there's no genuinely relevant sector news, we don't send the Weekly. We'd rather skip an edition than fill it with low-value topics. Editorial honesty first.

Why Monday morning? Because makers plan their week's prints between Sunday and Monday. The Weekly arrives just when you're deciding which project to tackle, which parameters to adjust, or whether to order the resin you've run out of. In our internal tests, early Monday morning during working hours is when the Weekly gets the most reads and generates the most conversation on Telegram afterwards.

Editorial holidays: Mr Resin pauses the Weekly in August if there is no relevant industry news and resumes in September with a summary of the missed month. The principle is simple: we prefer not to ship rather than ship with filler. The holiday season also typically has 1–2 weeks of pause unless a manufacturer launches something significant between December 20 and January 7, which is uncommon.

How the extra emails differ: the 1–2 extra emails per week they are not Weekly. They have a different subject line (example: «New Elegoo 8K Water Washable restock»), are shorter, more commercial, and tied to a specific product or promotion from the Mr Resin catalogue. The Weekly always begins with «Mr Resin Weekly #NNN» in the subject line so you can identify it instantly.

Yes, 100% free. There's no premium tier, we don't ask for payment details, there's no paywall and none is planned for the future. Mr Resin Weekly is free and will stay that way. The model is sustained by the Mr Resin catalogue (resins, filaments, accessories) and the custom 3D printing service. As long as the catalogue works, the Weekly will remain free for the entire maker community.

Yes. Every Mr Resin email includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. No intermediate forms, no retention questions, no dark patterns. When you click, you're unsubscribed instantly and stop receiving emails. GDPR compliance and best practices, always.

Just your email. We don't ask for your name, surname, phone number, address or anything else to subscribe to Mr Resin Weekly. If you're a customer with an account, your email is already linked to your profile. The GDPR consent checkbox is required by law but stores no extra data.

No. Mr Resin does not sell, rent or share your email with third parties. The Weekly list is proprietary and hosted on the Shopify/Klaviyo email platform with GDPR compliance. Only the Mr Resin internal team has access to the database.

We don't yet publish a public archive online. If you want a preview, this page shows the subject lines and topics covered in Weekly #001, #002, #003 and #004. If you subscribe and change your mind, one click to unsubscribe and you're done: zero friction.

Yes. Mr Resin Weekly is 100% in Spanish. It covers global 3D sector news (Bambu Lab, Snapmaker, MIT, etc.) but always translated and contextualised for the Spanish market. Links to original sources are usually in English; Mr Resin's opinions are always in Spanish.

Mr Resin Weekly is asynchronous: it arrives in your inbox on Monday, you read it whenever you like, and it's structured as editorial curation from the team. The Telegram @MrResin3D community is live: more than 500 active makers, quick questions, sharing real parameters, solving printing issues in real time and deep technical conversations. They are complementary, not substitutes: the Weekly gives you the weekly snapshot, Telegram gives you the daily conversation. Many makers use both channels.

You can reply directly to any Weekly email and it reaches us. You can also write to us via /pages/contacto or on Telegram @MrResin3D. Community suggestions are our best source of ideas: several Weekly editions have come directly from subscriber replies.

Honesty first: if in any given week there's nothing genuinely worth covering, we don't send the Weekly. In August Mr Resin pauses editorial work if the sector is quiet and resumes in September with a recap of the missed month. Christmas usually brings 1–2 weeks of pause unless a manufacturer launches something significant between 20 December and 7 January. We'd rather skip an edition than send you filler: that's the Mr Resin editorial principle.

Only if you've explicitly subscribed to the Weekly. Purchasing from Mr Resin does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter — by GDPR obligation and by principle. You need to tick the consent checkbox at the Mr Resin catalogue checkout or sign up on this page. We clearly separate transactional communications (your orders, shipping, invoices) from marketing (the Weekly, promotions, launches). Being a customer and being a subscriber are two different things, managed in two separate databases.

Sometimes. Weekly subscribers occasionally receive exclusive discount codes, early access to Mr Resin catalogue launches or limited runs. It's not the main focus (the Weekly is editorial), but it does happen from time to time.

First check your spam or Gmail/Outlook promotions folder. Add hola@mrresin.es to your contacts. If it still hasn't arrived after several weeks, write to us at /pages/contacto with your subscription email and we'll look into it. It's usually a filter from your email provider.

The Weekly is written by the Mr Resin team. We use AI as an assistant for research (processing feeds, translating long English passages) and to generate initial draft summaries, but the editorial selection, tone, final opinion and headlines are written by a person. The difference shows: the Weekly carries Mr Resin's voice, not that of a generic prompt. If we automated it 100% with AI, calling it «the team's honest opinion» would be meaningless.
