HeyGears steel build platform for Reflex and Reflex Turbo
Genuine replacement build platform for the HeyGears Reflex. It's a perforated 304 stainless steel plate: the holes let liquid resin drain back into the vat instead of pooling on the platform and your parts. Get it to replace a damaged platform, or as a second one so your printer keeps running while you remove parts.

Compatibility
HeyGears lists it for the Reflex. The Reflex Turbo is the evolution of the Reflex, with an upgraded Amber screen, and HeyGears groups documentation and spare parts for both as "Reflex/Reflex Turbo" (vats, films, tape and screen protector). It does not fit the Reflex RS family or the Reflex 2 series: for those, choose the Reflex RS platform or the Reflex 2 perforated platform. The platform stays the same whether you use the standard vat, the Pulsing Release vat or the Pulsing Release Module.
When to replace it or get a second one
- If the surface is damaged or warped and parts no longer stick.
- If you print in batches and want a clean platform ready for the next job.
- If parts are falling off, check these first: debris in the vat or in the platform holes, a cloudy or damaged film, poorly stored resin or low temperature. HeyGears recommends 20-25 °C and humidity below 50 %.
Installation and leveling
- Mount the platform on its holder with the vat clean and locked in place.
- Level it from the printer menu. HeyGears has an official video, "Reflex Build Platform Leveling", on its wiki.
- To remove the platform with parts without touching the resin, HeyGears sells a Platform Transfer Tool that is only compatible with the Reflex.
Rafts and holes
With a perforated platform, you need to pay attention to the raft. HeyGears recommends:
- Don't print without a raft, or with a solid or skate-style raft: parts come loose more easily.
- A raft no smaller than the part's cross-section and at least 10 x 10 mm, so supports aren't generated over a hole.
- Raft thickness above 1 mm, so it comes off in one piece without leaving residue.
- Group small parts in Blueprint Studio on a single raft.
Cleaning
After removing your parts, check there's no residue left on the surface or inside the holes. Clean with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth, and blow dry with air before mounting it. You'll find alcohol and supplies in post-processing.
