HeyGears Standard Resin Tank for Reflex 2 and Reflex 2 Pro
This is the regular Reflex 2 series tank, without Pulsing Release. It's easy to swap and works with both the Reflex 2 and the Reflex 2 Pro. It does not work with the Pulsing Release Module 2. For that, you need the Pulsing Release tank.

Why get a second tank
With one tank per resin, you don't have to empty and clean the tank every time you switch materials. It also gives you a spare if yours gets damaged. HeyGears even suggests stacking tanks of different resins using the platform's side drip rack.
Compatibility
- Works with the resins HeyGears marks as "optional" or "no" for the module: PAS10, PAP10, PAWR10, PAF10, PAU11, PAH10, PAM10, PAT10 and water-washable resins (such as PAWW20).
- PAC10, PAE10, PAU20 and PAH270 require the Pulsing Release Module 2 and its Pulsing Release tank for Reflex 2.
- Not compatible with the Reflex, Reflex Turbo, RS or RS Turbo.
Installation
- Take the tank out of the bag. There's a protective film under the release film. Peel it off slowly without pulling off the support pads.
- If the rubber plugs under the tank stick out after shipping, press them back in.
- Make sure the screen is clean, place the tank on top and lock it in.
- Fit the build platform and insert the scraper.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Recover leftover resin through a 120 mesh filter and pour it back into its bottle.
- Scrape out any remaining resin with a spatula or scraper card.
- Spray alcohol or IPA inside and wipe with a lint-free cloth. You'll find alcohol in alcohol and post-processing.
- Before refitting it, make sure there's no resin or cleaner residue left.
When to replace it
The release film has its own lifespan. HeyGears sells the Reflex 2 series film in packs of two, so you don't need to replace the whole tank if only the film fails. Replace the complete tank only if the frame is damaged.
Which one should you choose?
For standard, high-detail or water-washable resins, choose this tank. If you want to print castable, elastic, tooling or high-temperature resins, you need the Pulsing Release tank with the Pulsing Release Module 2 kit. To heat the resin, you need the heated scraper.

How is it different from the Pulsing Release tank?
The Pulsing Release tank works with Module 2 and is required for PAC10, PAE10, PAU20 and PAH270. This tank is for printing without the module.
Does it work with the Reflex 2 Pro?
Yes. HeyGears lists it as compatible with the entire Reflex 2 series.
Can I print PAH270 with this tank?
No. PAH270 requires the Pulsing Release Module 2 and its tank.
Does it work with water-washable resins?
Yes. Water-washable resins aren't compatible with the module, so they go in this tank. PAWW20 works on the Reflex 2 and 2 Pro. According to HeyGears' chart, PAWW10 works only on the Reflex 2.
Does it heat the resin?
No. On the Reflex 2 series, heating is done by the heated scraper.
Can I remove the film under the release film?
Yes. It's a protective film that must be removed before use. Peel it off slowly without removing the pads.
