HeyGears Pulsing Release Tank for Reflex 2 and Reflex 2 Pro
This is the tank the Pulsing Release Module 2 needs to work on the Reflex 2 series. HeyGears states that the module must always be used with this tank: the standard Reflex 2 tank does not support pulse printing. It fits the Reflex 2 and the Reflex 2 Pro.

What the Pulsing Release Module 2 does
The module inflates and deflates the tank film to release each layer with roughly 50 % less force. HeyGears cites up to 60 % fewer supports, up to 54 % less contact area, pillars of 1 mm or less with a better finish, and thin walls of 3 mm or less with fewer layer lines.

- Take the tank out, peel off the protective film on the back and remove the four dust-protection stickers from the air inlets.
- Do not remove the two tapes on the air channels on the underside.
- With the printer switched off, connect the air tube and the module cable. Switch on and fit the tank, scraper and build plate.
- In Blueprint Studio, create the project selecting the Pulsing Release Module. When printing, the machine checks that the module is connected.
Maintenance and when to replace it
Check for cured residue before and after every print: it damages the film when the build plate lowers. HeyGears sells the Reflex 2 series Pulsing Release film separately, so you only need to replace the whole tank if the frame gets damaged or if you want one tank per resin. To heat the resin, the Reflex 2 series uses the heated scraper.
Which one should you choose?
If you only use standard, high-detail or water-washable resins, the standard Reflex 2 tank is all you need. If you are going to print castable, elastic, tooling or high-temperature resins, you need this tank with the module.
